update!

I originally started this blog to keep up with what’s going on with JR and I. Now I’m just going to use it as an outlet and post whatever is going on in life! And right now, there’s a lot going on!

JR and I are living together in an apartment in Fort Worth near TCU. We have two dogs, Wendy the Schnauzer and Lucy our adorable mutt. They’re crazy but so much fun. We are really enjoying our little family. Having two dogs is making us think we don’t want kids for another 10 years or something! haha Hopefully when I figure this out I’ll get pictures of them posted.

Work is incredibly ridiculous… seriously, no lie. Our department is getting outsourced in May so until then we get to help transition our job to the new company taking over. We go to write the manuals on the how-to’s of our job and train them. Exciting huh? Training the person taking my job, wonderful. At work I try to stay positive and upbeat, can’t burn any bridges because you never know when you’ll need to cross again! I guess my biggest issue is the person they are relying on to do most of this work is the girl that has been here the shortest amount of time. She’s a very nice person and I’m starting to quickly realize she’s a nice friend but not a nice co-worker. I hate that. She’s one of those people who wants to do all the work herself and not ask for help or pass some of the duties on because she wants all of the recognition and praise for it. It’s annoying because she barley hit her 1 year mark and she JUST got trained on all of our duties but she’s the one training everyone else? How does that work?

I’m taking two classes this semester, one online and one on Monday nights at UNT. So far I think its going well… I have about 8 classes left total so I’m hoping to get 2 or 3 knocked out over the summer so I can graduate in 2011. I can’t wait to have a diploma!
